The Ajman Department of Finance held a workshop on financial circular and budget preparation procedures for the year 2023 to achieve the highest levels of outstanding financial performance. The workshop aims to enable government agencies to prepare a draft budget for 2023 in accordance with the approved procedures and regulations, and to introduce it to a set of main topics directly related to it, which included the general rules for preparing the general budget and the relevant requirements in this regard and the approved methodology and foundations. Marwan Ahmed Al Ali, Director General of the Department of Finance stressed the department's keenness to develop effective mechanisms for preparing and implementing the general budget and to strengthen supervision over the preparation and implementation of financial policies and plans for the Ajman government. He explained that the workshop comes within the framework of Ajman Finance's keenness to support government agencies and its belief in the need for concerted efforts and joint work to achieve sustainable development at the level of the emirate. For his part, Khalifa Al Aleeli, Director of Government Budgets Department in the department, confirmed that holding the workshop comes within the framework of the department's commitment to perform its role efficiently and effectively and to ensure the application of best practices adopted in preparing and building government budgets.
