Unified Financial System
Under the directives of His Highness Sheikh Humaid bin Rashid Al Nuaimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of the Emirate of Ajman “may God protect him” to develop the financial performance of the government of Ajman and with the follow-up of His Highness Sheikh Ammar bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, Crown Prince and Chairman of the Executive Council “may God protect him”, the unified financial system of the government of Ajman was issued, which consists of:
The Financial Law of the Government of Ajman issued by Emiri Decree No. (11) of 2011.
Emiri Resolution No. (10) of 2011 regarding the financial powers of the Ajman government and its amendments.
Emiri Resolution No. (12) of 2011 regarding the issuance of the executive regulations for the financial law of the Government of Ajman.
Resolution No. (128) of 2011 approving the Ajman Government Financial Policies and Procedures Manual and its amendments.
Resolution No. (129) of 2011 Adopting the Accounting Manual of the Government of Ajman and its amendments.
The unified financial system of the government of Ajman shall apply to all departments, institutions and departments of the government of Ajman whose budgets are included in the annual general budget of the government of Ajman, in addition to government agencies that have an independent legal personality and enjoy financial and administrative independence, and have an independent budget in accordance with the local legislation issued for its establishment or re-establishment Organizing them, unless local legislation requires otherwise.
The system shall come into force as of January 1, 2012, and all government agencies for which this system is applicable must strictly adhere to its provisions and policies and procedures as of the date of its entry into force.
The Department of Finance is also responsible for supervising and following up the implementation of the unified financial system of the government of Ajman, and responding to any inquiries, questions or clarifications received from government agencies regarding its provisions, policies and procedures.
