The Commercial Services Corporation of the Ajman Transport Authority has adopted various options for payment operations in Ajman taxis, including electronic payment via credit card, in addition to maintaining the traditional cash payment, which provides multiple options for passengers. "Since its launch at the beginning of October, the service has witnessed a turnout by the public, as passengers avoid contact through cash payments," said Ahmed Saqr Al Matrooshi, CEO of the Authority's Commercial Services Corporation. Al Matrooshi added, "This project will be implemented in several phases in cooperation with the First Abu Dhabi Bank (Magnati) and the Ajman Department of Finance (Ajman Pay), which will provide multiple options for Ajman taxi users, achieve customer happiness, and develop and activate digital services and improve their quality."
