Sheikh Ahmed bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, Ruler's Representative for Financial and Administrative Affairs, Chairman of the Finance Department in the Government of Ajman, chaired the Leadership Council meeting, which was held in the presence of Marwan Ahmed Al Ali, Director General of the Department and a number of officials at the department's headquarters.
The Board discussed a number of topics on its agenda related to institutional risks in the department and the percentage of closing internal audit observations, in addition to the key performance indicators and development plans implemented by the Department of Finance.
The Board reviewed the institutional risks report and the most important risks that affect the department's operations, and the risk management policy followed, confirming the commitment of the senior leadership towards dealing with institutional risks. The Board also touched on a report on the role of internal audit in the department, statistics on the total and type of observations that were recorded in the first quarter of 2021, and the procedures taken to close observations in departments and offices.
Finally, a report on the percentage of completion of projects and initiatives for the first quarter of this year was reviewed and compared with the target. In this context, the Department of Finance is keen to make all efforts to raise the level of services provided to the public according to the highest international standards and in line with Ajman Vision 2021, which aims at a happy and sustainable green economy.
