His Excellency Marwan Ahmed Al Ali, Director-General of the Department of Finance in Ajman, stated that the department was keen to provide many advantages to bidders, including the issuance of (44) tender documents for free in the electronic procurement system, and the renewal of the registration of (525) suppliers in the supplier registry system from April to August 2021, compared to (337) suppliers registered during the same period last year.

This comes in light of the directives of the higher leadership to facilitate bidders and suppliers, and five months after the implementation of the Emiri Decree issued by His Highness Sheikh Ammar bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, Crown Prince of the Emirate of Ajman, Chairman of the Executive Council, according to which the registration renewal fees for suppliers and the decision issued by His Highness Sheikh Ahmed were cancelled. Bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, representative of His Highness the Ruler of Ajman for Administrative and Financial Affairs, Chairman of the Finance Department in the Government of Ajman, according to which the selling value of (500) dirhams was canceled in return for suppliers, contractors and consultants obtaining the booklet of conditions in tenders and bids. Al Ali stated that the senior leadership in the Ajman government was keen to launch various initiatives and facilities on an ongoing basis and its interest in promoting the growth of Emirati companies and providing an attractive business environment that encourages doing business in the Emirate of Ajman, thus contributing to advancing economic growth in line with the vision and directives of our wise leadership.

Al Ali pointed to the need to provide an environment that attracts investments and stimulates the growth of small and medium-sized companies, which are among the main pillars of the economy of the Emirate of Ajman and the UAE in general, stressing the importance of supporting the growth of the business sector and its role in consolidating the position of Ajman as an investment destination and a leading center for doing business.
