The Ajman Finance Department crowned its efforts to develop the performance of government work, raise the efficiency of public money management mechanisms and reach excellence in the development and management of financial resources despite the challenges of “Covid 19”, as the department succeeded in covering 100 percent of the financial and legal inquiries it received from various government agencies in the emirate regarding The financial policies, legislation and regulations contained in the unified financial system of the government of Ajman, which numbered 70 financial inquiries.
The department explained that the Policy and Consultation Office dealt efficiently and transparently with all financial inquiries that came from local government agencies through the “ASK FINANCE” service, explaining that the inquiries dealt in their entirety to several sections of the financial policies and procedures manual, as they included the section of the guide, contracts, purchases, the section of expenses and The government property section, the payments section, the general budget section, the Ajman government accounting manual section, in addition to the salaries and wages section.
His Excellency Marwan Ahmed Al Ali, Director General of the Department of Finance in Ajman, said that the department is constantly seeking to raise the efficiency of financial performance and enhance the quality of services it provides to the public, noting that the department has kept pace with the successive achievements of the UAE in 2020, despite the challenges of the Corona pandemic that cast a shadow on the whole world.
He stressed that the department was able to answer all the financial and legal inquiries it received, praising the efforts of all those in charge of the "Ask Finance" service, which he said represents a link between the Department of Finance and all government departments in the Emirate of Ajman in order to meet their requirements and aspirations.
The Director General of the Department of Finance in Ajman stressed the automation of the department’s operations and keeping pace with the digital transformation in developing and upgrading its services and facilitating the mechanism of communication between the department and the various government agencies in the emirate, in line with Ajman vision aimed at achieving a sustainable green economy, noting in this regard that the department has allocated various communication channels It includes the website “www.ajfd.ae”, its social media, in addition to official correspondence and instant chats.
