“Ajman Finance” organizes the “Finance Innovates” competition and 9 workshops

The Ajman Department of Finance concluded the “Finance Innovates” activities that it held from February 21 to February 25 as part of its participation in the “UAE Innovates 2021” innovation week, as part of its commitment to consolidating and spreading the culture of innovation and enhancing the position of the United Arab Emirates among the most innovative and prepared countries for the future in the world. As part of its keenness to make government innovation an effective and permanent work and institutional culture in the UAE government, the department held a series of virtual workshops in conjunction with the Innovation Week, which aimed to encourage creativity and innovation for its employees. The department also organized a series of specialized virtual discussion sessions that dealt with a sentence From a variety of topics and axes, including: innovative management to confront financial crises, self-generator of innovation, application of artificial intelligence by investment, innovation path and transformational government foresight, innovative accounting, process automation using robots programs, smart conversations, blockchain in the financial field, and others. On this occasion, His Excellency Marwan Ahmed Al Ali, Director General of the Department of Finance in Ajman, said: “The Department continues its efforts to consolidate a culture of innovation and create an environment that stimulates creativity that contributes to enhancing the skills and capabilities of national cadres in financial work. The innovative initiatives and workshops organized by the department confirm its keenness to support the UAE’s march towards upgrading methods of innovation and digital transformation, in line with the National Innovation Strategy and the UAE Centennial 2071.” He added: “Innovation has become a necessary skill that contributes to strengthening the knowledge economy and the global competitiveness of enterprises. Therefore, we encourage the Department of Finance to employ various means of innovation to develop a pioneering financial system, in line with our strategy based on adopting innovation to raise the efficiency of financial and government work.” On the other hand, the department organized a competition entitled “Finance Innovates” to encourage employees to adopt innovative methods in financial work. During the competition, employees presented their various financial ideas and suggestions that support the aspirations of the Ajman government in promoting innovation and digital transformation. His Excellency Marwan Al Ali honored the innovative winners of qualified national cadres for their creative ideas.”
