Ajman Smart Payment Gateway wins the Best Government Payment Experience Award

Ajman Smart Payment Gateway won the Best Government Payment Experience award at the Seamless Middle East 2020 Awards ceremony, which was held recently at the Dubai International Financial Centre. This award came in appreciation of the Department of Finance's efforts and initiatives aimed at making the Ajman Smart Payment Gateway the safest and smartest payment system among the many payment solutions and options available in the country.
The award was received by His Excellency Marwan Al Ali, Director General of the Department of Finance, in the presence of a number of senior officials of the Department and the work team.

Commenting on this achievement, Sheikh Ahmed bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, Ruler’s Representative for Administrative and Financial Affairs and Head of the Finance Department, said: We are proud to have received this prestigious award, which confirms the Department of Finance’s keenness to transform the vision of the wise leadership into a tangible reality and to combine all efforts to achieve diversified and sustainable economic growth, and develop Human capital, stimulating innovation, and making Ajman an integrated modern city.

This award also highlights the strategic role played by the department in pushing the digital transformation process in the Emirate of Ajman, and consolidating its position towards achieving an advanced and pioneering position in this field at the regional and global levels. Ajman Smart Payment Gateway has its own digital wallet, the first to be linked to the unified digital identity in the United Arab Emirates (UAE Pass/). When paying through this wallet through the portal's electronic and smart channels, no additional fees will be charged for the government service to be performed.
