Stemming from its unwavering commitment to social responsibility and fostering the spirit of giving and humanitarian values during the holy month of Ramadan, The Department of Finance in Ajman launched a series of charitable initiatives in cooperation with Al Ihsan Charity Association. These initiatives included distributing iftar meals to fasting drivers, workers, and low-income families in the emirate.

These efforts embodied the Department's active presence in the community during the holy month, affirming its pivotal role in instilling a culture of volunteerism and inculcating a spirit of community participation among its employees. They saw widespread participation from the Department's employees, who demonstrated enthusiasm and dedication in packing and distributing meals, reaffirming their commitment to supporting the Ajman community.

Generous Hands

As part of its commitment to social responsibility, the Department participate three times in the "Ramadan Aman 11" campaign, organised by the Al Ihsan Charity Association under the slogan "Together... A Ramadan Without Accidents," aiming to reduce road accidents and excessive speeding during iftar time.

In a gesture that reflects the spirit of leadership and inspiration, His Excellency Marwan Ahmed Al Ali, Director General of the Department of Finance in Ajman, participated in this initiative, joining the generous hands of the field team. These participations resulted in the packaging and distribution of 1,400 light iftar meals to drivers at vital traffic intersections in the emirate.

The Department, in cooperation with the Association, also contributed to the "Loqmat Khair 7" initiative by distributing 800 iftar meals to fasting workers, in recognition of their efforts and the importance of standing by this segment of society during the holy month, bringing joy to their hearts.
